ST. KAGWA OLD BOYS CELEBRATE SCHOOLS’ EXCELLENT FOOTBALL RESULTS

The old boys of St kagwa Busheny high school last evening 14^th july2019 held a dinner for foot ball players who emerged fifteenth in the Cola schools’ foot ball championship.

The function was held at peak hotel in Bushenyi where many old boys, teachers and well wishers attended.

The Chief Guest Dr Suleiman Namara who works with the World Bank in Bangladesh advised players to concentrate on both books and football.

He also advised them to use their adolescence time well by avoiding HIV because it is still a killer disease.

He also advised the players/students to avoid drug abuse because they destroy their good future.

He donated two million shillings to sports fund and UGX600,000= for the players to eat and enjoy.

The head teacher of the school Mr.Wavamuano Tumusiime urged old boys to love and join their association.

He hailed the late Father Evalist Mukama who rejuvenated football in St Kagwa by advising the board to offer scholarship to the talented need foot ball players.

The president of the old boys association Mr. Paul Kahigi Turyamureba called upon the old boys to mobilize each other wherever they are in order to have a strong and vibrant association (SKOBA).

He noted that old boys are like brothers so wherever they meet should help each other financially, in getting jobs among others.

St Kagwa finished in the fifteenth position in the whole country and became the best in Western Uganda.
