STOP FAILING CONFIRMANTS (ABAROONDE) —–DIOCESAN COUNCIL WARNS BISHOP TWINOMUJUNI

The Diocesan council, one of the biggest West Ankole diocese committees has warned Bishop Johnson Twinomujuni to stop failing and embarrassing confirmants (abaroonde) with immediate effect.

One of the members who preferred anonymity revealed to www.mknewslink.com that the council resolved that if the bishop is to fail confirmants, he should also suspend his staff the archdeacon, reverandwho will have trained the confirmants.

This information came to light after a council sat at Bweranyangi cathedral and made numerous resolutions including that of Bishop Johnson never to fail confirmants again.

The meeting which sat last month expressed concern over the embarrassment caused by the Bishop to children including even those less than 12 years.

In response the Bishop assured them that he has got a solution to that problem adding that he would not fail confirmants again.

All the three Bishops before Bishop Twinomujuni that is Bamunoba ,Bagambo and katonene had never failed confirmants. It would be the Archdeacon and the Reverend to fail them during the scrutinising process and all those that appeared before the Bishop would be fit for the confirmation ceremony.

Bishop Twinomujuni has so far failed hundreds of confirmants( abaroonde)since he took over on 28^th May 2017 and some people have started hating church of Uganda.
