STOP SELFISHNESS, DON’T OVER STAY IN POWER—REV. BIRUNGIBYAYESU TELLS OFF LEADERS

Leaders have been challenged to desist from selfishness and stop malicious heart of over staying in power instead they raise transformational leaders who will inherit them in future.
Rev Dr. Birungibyayesu made the sounded the challenge on Sunday afternoon while addressing over 23000 people who had gathered at World shine foundation school Rwentobo Ntungamo district for a four day 5th Healing for the Nations international conference 2018 under the theme ‘Revolutionary love’.
He noted that the warning goes to all leaders ranging from political, religious, civic and social at all levels.
Rev Dr Birungibyayesu noted that his ministry has preached, raised and released over 120 young people every year called emerging leaders who are transformational leaders who will take control of the country in the next 20 to 30 years in various portfolios noting that a success without a successor is a disaster.
He also appealed to government to prioritize family income generating activities to curb the rampant cases of family crumbling and breakdown.
World shine foundation school started in 2005 with 126 pupils but now has got over 600 pupils who are performing well in academics and discipline.
At least 12 Bishops from across the world including south Ankole diocese Bishop Rt Rev Nathan Ahimbisibwe, and an archbishop from the USA are among several preachers who graced the occasion from Wednesday and ended on Sunday.
