STOP WASTING TIME IN UN PRODUCTIVE THINGS–MASINDI BOSS TELLS OFF YOUTHS

Youths in Masindi district have been warned against wasting time in doing un productive things.
The warning was sounded by the chairperson LCV Masindi district, Cosmas Byaruhanga, while officially opening a two day youth leaders orientation organized by Recreation for Development and Peace (RDP) at Devenue hotel in Masindi town.
He said the youth should stop pretending that they still have more time to live noting that the time is too short thereby requesting them to use the available time resourcefully. Byaruhanga also advised the youth to be innovative if they are to succeed in their life.
Facilitating during the same training, Badru Mugabi, the district councilor Central division cautioned the youth leadersto stop taking politics as a job but rather use it to get other opportunities which can enable them earn big.
He noted that if youth leaders take politics as a job they will die poor and beggars.
Over 60 youth from three sub counties and one division in Masindi district are undergoing a two day orientation on their roles and how to participate in budget process to help them ensure that their issues are always incorporated in the district budget.
Robert Muhangi, the executive Director RDP, said that they embarked on inducting the youth leaders after they realized that they had not been inducted since they were elected in 2016 and yet it is one of the necessities for them to perform well according to him.
