SURE SECONDARY SCHOOL CLOSED

The district education officer Ibanda district Gaudius Ahimbisibwe Bidebele has closed sure secondary school over operating in an illegal manner.
Mr. Gaudius Ahimbisibwe Bidebele with the help of Ibanda district inspector of schools Peter Nsimire advised students of sure secondary school in Bisheshe division Ibanda municipality to apply in other legal schools in the district than wasting time in unauthorized school which does not meet the required standards.
Mr. Ahimbisibwe noted that sure secondary school was closed last year with enrollment of 100 students from senior one to senior six and living in poor sanitation.
The resident district commissioner Eliastio Akatuheebwa ordered for the arrest of the school director Gideon Tukasingura for failing to pay teachers their wages.
