SUSPECTED MOTORCYCLE THIEF LYNCHED IN FORTPORTAL

Residents of Rwengaju Kigarama Busoro sub county Burahya county Kabarole district have today morning lynched as suspected Motorcycle thief and set his body ablaze.
According to one brother John an eye witness, the angry residents including Boda Boda riders beat one only identified as Kanyankole claiming that he had stolen a motorcycle belonging to Byamukama Job a Matooke vendor.
Brother John told this reporter that yesterday evening Byamukama had gone to buy Matooke from one of the neighbors and left his motorcycle parked alongside the road but on return he did not find it.
John stated that Byamukama made an alarm that attracted the residents and mounted a search until today morning when it was found hidden in one Pelus’s home in an abandoned house.
However the deceased is believed to have relocated from Bukwali East division Fort portal municipality to Rwengaju three months ago.
By press time police had reached the scene of crime.
