TAUSI VS GLOBAL COACHES IN ISHAKA – TEAR GAS, STONE THROWING ENGULF TOWN

Tear gas, stone throwing engulfed Ishaka town as Tausi and global coaches supporters throw stones at police fighting for who should work in Ishaka or not, including the surrounding areas.

Early morning today tear gas, blockage of roads, blockage of high ways took shape in Ishaka town as taxi blockers, bus blockers, boda bodas engaged in a fight whether global coaches should join Tausi in Ishaka or not.

Last month the owner of Tausi bus company bought 10 new bus and distributed them in Mbarara and Ishaka which greatly disorganized the operations of global coaches which had directly owned Mbarara-Kampala route.

The RDC Bushenyi Robert Atuhirwe told journalists after the harmonization meeting that he was going to meet leaders of Tausi and global coaches to find a way forward and stop these senseless fights.

The entire Bushenyi leadership and district all combined at independence park next to Gaz petrol station to look for a lasting solution to this problem.

The mayor Bushenyi-Ishaka municipality Richard Byaruhanga and his town clerk Mr. Mukobi plus Ishaka divisional leaders Michenga, and town clerks all converged at the above town square to look for elasting solution.[caption id="attachment_40489" align="alignnone" width="1016"] The town Clerk and the Moyar Bushenyi Ishaka municipality also attended the meeting
