TEACHER GOES INTO HIDING AFTER DEFILING 12 YEAR OLD PUPIL IN MASINDI

Police in Masindi district are hunting for a teacher at Masindi Miracle Center Church Primary School in Masindi Municipally, western region for allegedly defiling a 12-year old pupil.

The teacher has been identified as Paddy Kalinka who reportedy fled after defiling a primary six pupil whose name has been withheld.

It is alleged that Kalinka used to seduce young girls to have sex with him with the promise of awarding them good marks in his subjects.

The victim says that shortly after night preps a few days ago, Kalinka grabbed and forced her into a sexual act in the school compound.

On learning of the incident from a fellow parent, Brian Agaba, the father to the victim says he opened up a defilement case against Kalinka at Masindi Central Police Station.

The Masindi district Police Community Liaisons Officer Peter Mukasa confirmed the reports and asked the public to notify the police wherever they see Kalinka, so that he can answer the charges that have been preferred against him.

However when contacted for a comment, Pastor Robert Rwomushana Kibuuka, the director of the school could neither admit nor refute the accusations against his teacher saying he expelled the teacher from the school in the second-term due to drunkenness.

We could not get a comment from the said teacher as his known phone number was off at the time of publishing this story.
