TEACHER SHOT DEAD AT PETROL STATION IN ISHAKA

Police in Bushenyi are investigating a case in which a teacher was shot dead yesterday by two security guards at Petro station.

The deceased Onan Muramira 47 yrs old a resident of Nyakabingo1cell, Rushinya parish, Kakanju s/county Bushenyi district was shot dead at Katungu filling Petro station located at Bugomora cell, Ward 3, Ishaka division, Bushenyi-Ishaka municipality, Bushenyi district.

Martial Tumusiime the greater Bushenyi police spokesperson says that the deceased who had a seasonal mental health was suspected to be a vehicle battery thief when he entered the station.

Tumusiime adds that they found the body of deceased lying down at the Petro station with torn clothes and almost naked.

The deceased had small wound on chest and open wound at back.

Police have so far arrested the two security guards attached to Ruhama veterans Uganda limited.

The body is at KIU teaching hospital Ishaka pending postmortem.
