THREE KILLED IN TWO KIGEZI ACCIDENTS

Three people were this weekend killed in two accidents in Rubanda district.
The first one which claimed life of one person happened on 21/3/2020 at about 2030hrs at Mutachengwa along kabale-Kisoro road Rubanda district.
It occurred when a driver Peter Assenga Elbariki of motor vehicle .no KBX188Z/ZE6131 scania semi trailer white failed a blind bend and fell down on his right side dying instantly.
Assenga Elbariki held a Tz driving permit and was from Kisoro heading towards Kampala.
His body was taken to Kabale referral hospital for post mortem and motor vehicle is being guarded pending transfer to the station for inspection.
Another accident involved motor vehicle no UAW555F Toyota Ipsum driven by Darius Gumisiriza of Kigongi A cell/ward Central division Kabale municipality/district and yet to be known motorcycle which took off immediately.
According Elly Mate the Kigezi region police mouthpiece, two passengers on the motorcycle identifed as Monday Bosco 32 years and Hillary Turyasingura 30 years both of Ruhasa cell Kagarama parish Bubare s/c Rubanda district died on spot.

This occurred yesterday morning at around 06:00 hours at Esso park Kisoro stage within Kabale municipality as the two were heading home having come with morning bus from Kampala.
Their bodies were also taken to Kabale referral hospital for postmortem and later handed over to relatives for burial as efforts to trace for the motorcycle are underway.
