THREE PEOPLE PERISH IN MBARARA ACCIDENT

Three people have perished in accident today morning in Biharwe along Mbarara-Masaka highway.
According to Samson Kasasiira, the Rwizi Region Police spokesperson, the accident involved a speeding motor vehicle registration number UAM 338Y which knocked two people who were riding on a motor cycle reg. no UEU 993F.
The two yet to be identified who were riding on the motor cycle died on spot as well as the motor vehicle driver identified as Frank Rweranga.
The bodies were taken to Mbarara Regional Referral Hospital for Postmortem.
Kasasiira said that the cause of the accident was not unknown yet but they suspect it was due to reckless driving.
