TIMBITWIRE GIRLS SCHOOL CELEBRATES 5TH ANNIVERSARY IN STYLE.

Timbitwire girls school located in Kigoma Nyabubare sub-county Bushenyi district celebrated its 5^th anniversary yesterday in style by first holding prayers in memory of the parents of directors

The function began with prayers according to the director of the school Osward Atuhaire the school is named after the father of the two directors Mr. Timbitwire Saverino.

He further said that the reason why they decided to name it after their late father is because he was an educationist who retired in 1982 as the inspector of schools for Bushenyi district local government.

Mr. Osward told www.mknewslink.com editor that “we wanted the name of our father to remain in the minds of the people of Bushenyi because of the good job that he did towards the development of the education sector of the district even still the land on which the school is located, was given to us by mzee Timbitwire.

The function to celebrate 5 years was preceeded with prayers in memory of Saverino Timbitwire and our mother Yvonne Timbitwire and the mass was led by father Luis Atwiine.

Parents of Timbitwire girls school who attended the function whom www.mknewslink.com editor spoke too, expressed gratitude for the good services the school is providing like holistic education, providing the best UACE student in Bushenyi district in the 2014 exams.

The headmistress of the school Doreen Kabaizi told www.mknewslink.com editor that they are confident that they will continue doing well in both O’level and A’level UNEB exams because they have qualified and experienced teachers and good facilities.

She added that they need more students because the facilities they have are more than students they currently have, she therefore appealed to parents to bring their children to Timbitwire girls school for it provides holistic education, students feed very well and they even have co-curricular activities to freshen minds of students.
