TRANSPORT PARALYZED IN RUKUNGURI AS LORRY OVERTURNS IN MIDDLE OF ROAD

A goods lorry has overturned in Southern ward Rukungiri temporarily blocking the road

The FUSO truck registration number UAL 409D carrying merchandise failed to negotiate the steep incline and overturned.

The accident which occurred yesterday 8/09/2021 at around midday happened in Kyinyabushisha village Kinyasano ward southern division Rukungiri municipality.

The Lorry registration number UAL 409D was carrying an assortment of Goods including soap and foodstuffs

Police from Rukungiri Central Police station and the traffic were already at the scene to control the movement on the road and to investigate the cause of an accident.

Micheal Oketayot, the Rukungiri CPS Acting OC traffic confirmed the accident but did not divulge the details stressing that he had not got all the information from the deployed officers.
