TROUBLE FOR MARRYING SAME CLAN MEMBER, BASIIGI IN RUBANDA NULLIFY MARRIAGE

Rubanda Basiigi Clan terminate marriage of their fellow accused of marrying a Clan mate.
The Basiigi Clan in Hamuhambo Town council Rubanda District on Wednesday last week terminated the marriage of their fellow who is accused of marrying a Clanmate.
The accused has been identified as Edson Turinawe a son Aineya Kantakyi both from the Basiigi Banyonyera clan and residents of Nyamiyaga Cell Bushuura ward Hamuhambo Town council Rubanda East Constituency who recently married a 14yrs old girl on Last Friday of the same Clan who has been schooling in one of the Neighborhood school in the same area.
According to the locals who preferred anonymity of the 14 years. The old Girl who calls the suspect as his Uncle despite being a Clan mate is a daughter to the late Madvan and granddaughter of MR Nyamunoza Fled Jackson residents of Rwakayundo Cell Bushura Hamuhambo Town council.
The locals added that Edison has been using drugs and at one Time he fought with his father late Tinkamubwene Herbert Kachene trying to grab his father’s motorcycle to boda boda.
They further questioned the reasons why her mother was quiet on the matter despite the newly married couples staying outside in boys quarters for four days and sharing the same kitchen.
Speaking to our reporter on a phone call, the Bushuura ward Crime preventer Mr Richard Turyatemba said that the suspect has been terrorizing the whole village with theft
The chairperson LC2 Peter kasisiri condemned the shameful act. Kasisiri challenged the clan leaders and the parents to have time for their children if they are to stop incest within their clans.
He added that Edison has been Terrorizing the whole village with theft and fights whenever he would get drunk
Kasisiri called upon parents and clan leaders to have time for their Children and teach them clan ethics
