TV WEST’S SHEIKH ABDURHATIF CASE WITH DR ASIIMWE ADJOURNED TO OCT.22

The Bushenyi Grade one Magistrate on Tuesday 17th Sept. 2019 adjourned till October 22 the hearing of the case against a Kabwohe health centre IV doctor who assaulted a vision group journalist.
His worship Asanansio Mukobi who presided over the court session adjourned the matter on grounds that the chief magistrate her worship Jane Mugala was not around to work on it.
Dr. Davis Asiimwe in charge for Kabwohe Health Centre IV was accused of assaulting Sheikh Abdurhatif a vision group journalist over reporting a story that he allegedly gave ARVS to a patient one Faridah Kiconco when she was not HIV positive.
Dr. Asiimwe tested Kiconco HIV positive in 2011 and later in 2017 she was tested HIV negative.
It is alleged that the ARVS she used to take made her suffer to an extent of changing color plus abdominal pain all the time.
Dr. Davis Asiimwe was on Nov 12th last year forcefully dragged to court after missing three times to appear to hear charges.
