TWO ACCIDENTS IN GREATER BUSHENYI: SWIFT KILLS ONE IN SHEEMA , TWO DIE IN MITOOMA

Two people died on spot in a fatal accident that occurred in Mitooma district yesterday.
The deceased were identified as Baihaho Gordon 60yrs a resident of Rwemiyaga in Sheema and Bakanyire Getride 75yrs a resident of Kyaka in Mubenda
The accident happened when a motor vehicle registration number UAU 025 S premio that was carrying five people heading to Mitooma for burial lost control and over turned leaving the two dead.
According to SPMartial Tumusiime the greater Bushenyi police spokesperson, the three injured people were rushed to Kampala International university teaching hospital in critical conditions.
Meanwhile another person has died and more than 7 passengers are nursing injuries following a bus accident along Bushenyi-Mbarara road in western Uganda.
Swift bus registration number UAT 359P overturned at Kitojo humps in Sheema district today morning at around 8:30am with 10 passengers on board.
The bus that was travelling from Ishaka to Kampala lost control and over turned as it tried to overtake another bus from Kkingo bus coaches.
It knocked a woman who was on the side of the road and she was pronounced dead as she was being taken to ICOBI hospital in Kabwohe municipality.
The injured have also been taken to ICOBI hospital in Sheema municipality.
The driver is currently on run.
By press time, the wreckage bus was still down in the valley.
