TWO ARRESTED WITH COUNTERFEIT MONEY

Police in Mbarara have arrested two people for being in possession of counterfeit money amounting to two million Ugandan shillings.
The suspects include Asaph Nimusima and Milton Mwesigwa both hailing from Mbarara and Ibanda respectively.
According to the Rwizi Spokes person; Samson Kasasira, individuals tipped police officers who swung into action and found the suspects in Triple G bar ; in Kijungu , the suburb of Mbarara municipality.
On arresting them, they were found in possession of the counterfeit money worth 2million shillings which they were circulating among people.
He further said that these conmen target the university students whom they know that they come with huge sums of money from home.
Kasasira said that the money was taken to Bank of Uganda to check whether they were fake or genuine and the suspects will be taken to court for trial.
