TWO ARRESTED FOR ATTEMPTING TO EXHUME DEAD BODY

Police in Masindi have arrested 2 people for attempting to exhume a dead body in Kisarabwire cell, Karujubu division, Masindi municipality.

SP Samuel Odongo, the district police commander Masindi, identified the suspect as John Kabagambe 26 resident of Jeja in Kigumba Sub County Kiryandongo district and Geoffrey Wamani 38, whose residence was not established by press time.

Odongo explained that the suspects were netted yesterday night while trying to exhume a dead body in search for a skull of their step mother Catherine Nyakahara who died in 2006.

Odongo noted that the suspects were sent by one Nzizinga; a witch Doctor in Kigumba Sub County Kiryandongo district for super natural rituals.

Odong said that the duo currently detained at Masindi police station will be charged with disturbing the peace of the dead and criminal tress pass.

Jesero Kiiza;, the son to the deceased said that the suspects were led to the grave yard last Night by his brother who is also the son to the late Catherine Nyakahara.
