TWO ARRESTED IN CONNECTION TO MURDER OF TEA PLUCKER IN KYAMUHUNGA

Police in Bushenyi have arrested two people in connection with the murder of a tea plucker one Emmanuel Karyomanya 24 years.

According to greater Bushenyi police spokesperson SP Martial Tumusiime, the deceased was found lying alongside a foot path in Kibazi Cell, Kibazi parish Kyamuhunga subcounty Bushenyi district.

Martial Tumusiime noted that he could not name the arrested because it would jeopardize investigations.

He added that Karyomanya is born in Nyarukanya Ruhumuro subcounty

Tumusime noted that a post mortem done on the deceased revealed that he was murdered by strangulation.

A case of murder was registered under CB 220/21.

Cases of murder are common in greater Bushenyi mainly due to land conflicts, domestic violence, over consumption of alcohol among others.
