TWO ARRESTED OVER MAN’S DEATH AFTER BAR FIGHT

Police in Rukungiri have arrested two people as they hunt for another one in connection to the death of a 37 year old man.
It is alleged that the two Edward Rweshayi and Banabus Ainebyoona assaulted Godfrey Natwijuka a resident of Karokarungyi village, Kakindo parish, Bugangari Sub County in Rukungiri district which resulted into his death.
According to Pastori Ngabirano a relative to the deceased, the three fought in a bar at Omuruhita trading center on Tuesday and the deceased died the following day as he was being rushed to the hospital.
Ngabirano told www.mknewslink.com that Natwijuka’s death created different arguments amongst family members and residents which forced them to invite police for intervention.
The OCCID ASP Onesmus Kamugisha together with Rukungiri central police team visited the scene, confirmed the death and handed over the body to the relatives for burial
The Bugangari Subcounty district councilor Muhoozi called upon the young generation to concentrate on farming and other income generating business instead of meandering in bars and ending up falling victims of such acts.
