TWO CHILDREN DROWN IN KAZO DAM

Residents of Bwengera cell, Kazo Sub County, Kazo district are still in a shock after two children drowned yesterday in a dam.

The deceased have been identified by police reports as Asaph Akadwanaho 12 years and Emmanuel Kahoza 14 years.

The deceased had gone to swim in a nearby dam after collecting firewood.

Kazo District Police Commander Kosayi Hadali confirmed the death of the two teenagers and blamed parents for relaxing in monitoring their children during this COVID 19 lockdown.

By press time police had exhumed bodies of the deceased from the dam and taken to Kazo Health centre III for postmortem.
