TWO FAMILY MEMBERS DIE OF POISONED MILK

Two family members in Rukiga district on Wednesday morning died after drinking milk suspected to be poisoned.The deceased have been identified as 80 year old Jane Tibabugyira and
her grandchild Patricia Kemigisha aged 4 years all residents of Nyakagyera cell in Shoko parish Rwamucucu sub county Rukiga district.
The incident happened yesterday morning at around 8:00am at Nyakagyera cell in Shoko parish Rwamucucu sub county Rukiga district.
According to the councilor Rwamucucu Sub-county Eddy Mugisha, they suspect that the two could have been poisoned by their relatives who
visited their home in the morning since they have had grudges with the
family over a piece of land, Tibabugyira sold.

Mugisha said that the two died as the locals were planning to rush
them to the hospital.

The Rukiga district police commander Aggrey Okum told www.mknewslink.com  on phone that they have arrested Medius Tumuhimbise aged 40 years and her son Mathias Arinda, 17 years to help police in the investigations.
Okum said that the two visited the deceased’s home and after some minutes they died.
