TWO KILLED ON CHRISTMAS DAY IN BUNYORO

BUNYORO
Two people lost their lives on Christmas day in Bunyoro sub region.
According to the Albertine Region Police Spokesperson, Julius Allan Hakiza, the first incident was registered at around 2100hrs in Konarayi village in Manyinya parish Kasindi sub county in Kibaale district where neighbors picked a quarrel and lost his life.
Hakiza told our reporter Monday afternoon that Rutabana John, a 58-year-old man picked a quarrel with his neighbor identified as Byamugisha clent 40.
The police mouthpiece added that Byamugisha hit Rutabana with an iron bar killing him instantly adding that he was rescued by the patrol police from the angry mob.
Hakiza further added that he is detained at Kibaale CPS as investigations take shape.
The second incident was registered at around 1900hrs in Masindi district where a motor vehicle registration number UBB 237S knocked man dead.
According to Hakiza, the suspected vehicle was smuggled from the scene of crime before the arrival of police.
The Man’s lifeless body was evacuated to Masindi hospital mortuary and they are yet to identify its particulars.
