TWO MEN AGED 17, 16 ARRESTED OVER MURDER OF 8 YEAR OLD BOY

Police in Kiruhura have in its custody two men over kidnap and murder of 8 years old boy.

 The suspects have been suspected as Alex Asiimwe alias Isaac 17years and Enos Taremwa aged 16years both casual laborers in Ruhondwa village,Kyakabunga parish,Nyakasheshera Sub-County,Kiruhura district..

It is allegedly that on  31/07/2019 while in Ruhondwa village, Assimwe and Taremwa  kidnapped a primary school going pupil by the names of Ronald Kangume and start demanding for a ransom of USD100000 to have him released or else they kill him.

Samson Kasasira the Rwizi region police spokesperson said that the matter was taken up by Police; the suspects were tracked down and arrested on the 10/08/2019 in Kiruhura district.

He added that the suspects led the Police to where they killed and buried Kangume Ronald which was not far from the home of the deceased.

 Kasasira said that the suspects are in Police custody at CPS Kiruhura as investigations into the matter are going on.
