TYPHOID PATIENT DIES AT PASTOR’S HOUSE IN RUKUNGIRI SEEKING FOR DELIVERANCE

Police in Rukungiri are investigating circumstances under which a 29 year old woman died in a pastor’s house where she had been for prayers.
The deceased Monica Kyampeire a resident of Nyakasharara cell Burama parish Bungangari Sub County died at a pastor’s home in Kashenyi Village Nyabitete Bungagari sub county Rukungiri District.
Caleb Murangira a husband to the deceased told www.mknewslink.com Reporter that he brought his wife to the pastor’s place for healing and deliverance after he was told that only prayers can save his wife.
The pastor identified as Oliver Byanyima said that the deceased was in critical condition but she started improving, only to pass on suddenly.
Stephano Bamuhinga Chairman local council one Kashenyi cell and other residents said he and his committee had warned Byanyima against flouting presidential directives.
It is alleged that health workers referred the deceased to hospital for typhoid treatment but she instead opted for prayers
Police officers led by Harriet Nassuna and ASP Victor Arimpa visited the scene and warned residents against flouting presidential directives.
The deceased’s body was taken to Rwakabengo health centre 3 mortury for postmotem as investigations into the matter continue
