As a deterrent to the vice of malpractice, the Uganda Business and Technical Examinations Board (UBTEB) will cancel results of the entire semester for candidates who will be found copying and smuggling unauthorized materials.
The new regulations signed by the education minister, Janet Museveni, take effect from November – December 2019 examination series.
They apply to every party that is directly or indirectly involved in the assessment or conduct of examinations.
