UGANDA AT RISK OF CONTRACTING CORONA VIRUS AFTER THREE OF ITS NEIGHBORS CONFIRM CASES

Various leaders have advised Ugandans to take serious measures against corona virus that has spread to more than 114 countries worldwide since its outbreak in December 2019.
Hon Capt Dononzio Kahonda, the Ruhinda County Member of Parliament wants Ugandans to always keep proper hygiene at public functions including weddings, funerals and among others.
While talking to our news editor in an exclusive interview on Saturday Afternoon, Kahonda said though Uganda has not reported any corona virus case , Ugandans should make sure they keep a sharp eye towards its outbreak.
Midraj Muramuzi Kamhadi of Kyamuhunga Sub county wants Ugandans to be careful when handling public equipment such as office doors, money, and public toilets among others if they want to keep safe from Corona virus.
The Ugandan Ministry of Health has since clarified that the woman who was found self-quarantined in a room at Royal Complex, Luwum Street in downtown Kampala has no symptoms of Corona virus.
Corona virus (COVID-19) was first reported in Wuhan, Hubei Province in China in December 2019
By Saturday 14th March evening, Three Ugandan neighboring countries including Rwanda, Kenya and Democratic Republic of Congo had confirmed the corona virus cases leaving Uganda at a risk.
Other African nations to have reported cases of the virus include Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt, Algeria, Senegal, Togo, Cameroon, Burkina Faso, Democratic Republic of Congo, South Africa, Namibia, Nigeria, Ivory Coast, Gabon, Ghana, Guinea, Sudan, Kenya, Ethiopia and Mauritania.
