Kabarole district will join the rest of the World to commemorate the International AIDS Day on Sunday, 1st December and Kicwamba Sub-county has been selected to host the event.

Representing the District Health Officer of Kabarole during the preparations for AIDS Day commemorations, Kisembo Brian disclosed that Kabarole has exceeded the triple 90 target to 95% in testing and enrolling patients on HIV drugs.

He explained that Kicwamba Sub-county was selected to host the day following its background of high prevalence where it surpassed the targets of positive.

Rwabuhinga Richard, the Kabarole District LCV Chairperson is calling for behavioral change, voluntary testing and adherence to the drugs for the scourge to be reduced.
