Mr. Davis Musinguzi a parent in Masindi said Uganda’s national examination board should have different ways of demanding their available balances from schools without withholding exams which worries parents.
” For us, we don’t need to know who UNEB is demanding schools, for us we are parents who do our work of paying fees and others, UNEB should create measures of demanding their balances internally without affecting us as parents”
Mr. Musinguzi said. parents are demanding an explanation from the administration.
Mr. Ngobi Andrew a teacher at King’s primary school wants Uneb to remind schools before exams release to avoid humiliation through delayed results.
” It’s unfair to withhold results and hurt learners and their parents yet this is an issue between schools and Uneb,” Mr. Ngobi said.
The executive director of Uganda National Examination Board (UNEB) Mr. Daniel Odong said Schools must follow Uneb’S guidelines on payment to avoid such inconvenience.
