UNIDENTIFIED BODY DUMPED IN RUKUNGIRI

Police in Rukungiri are hunting for suspects who allegedly murdered an unidentified male adult for unknown reasons.
According to ASP Elly Maate the Kigezi region Police spokesman, Information was received from the chairperson LC 3 Buyanja Subcounty , that there was a dead body of an unidentified person lying in the compound of Sylvia Bashabe’s home at Nyakasharara cell, Rubanga Parish Buyanja Sub county in Rukungiri District.
Maate explains that at around 0303 AM this morning , Sylvia Bashabe heard noise outside her house and ongoing to check she discovered a man lying near her veranda.
She called her neighbors and local leaders who came and pronounced the man dead
Police was informed, the scene was visited and documented, the body was conveyed to Rwakabengo health center mortuary for postmortem.
Maate called on members of the public that may be missing their dear ones to visit the mortuary so that the body is identified and taken for burial.
He also called on the public to volunteer information that can lead to the perpetrators, so that are brought to book.
