UNIVERSITY LECTURERS WARNED AGAINST EXCHANGING MARKS FOR SEX

University lecturers have been warned to desist from exchanging marks for sex with female students, an act he says is becoming rampant in universities.
The warning today sounded by Dr.Nathan Karema ; the director Mbarara community Hospital while presiding over the 7th Ankole western University Graduation Ceremony for Kyambongo students at the campus grounds Sheema municipality.
He castigated male University lecturers who have turned it into a habit to award free marks to female students in exchange of sex.

He appealed to lectures to train students who will benefit their communities instead of giving them fake academic certificates.
Dr. Karema also warned the graduates to avoid irresponsible sexual network if they are to live longer and serve the nation.
The Vice chancellor Kyambogo University; Prof. Elly Katunguka urged the graduates to be exemplary in villages and he thanked the NRM government for supporting education.
Mean while 137 students were awarded diploma in education for kyambogo University in primary and secondary education respectively.
Out of 137 graduands, 56 were males and 81 females.
