Uganda national roads Authority [UNRA] yesterday morning handed over Katungu– Nyaruzinga road located in Bushenyi Ishaka Municipality.
The road was a tarmac one, which was a presidential pledge, president Yoweri Museveni gave to PIBID/BIRDIC.
The 3 kilometer road will help the people of Nyaruzinga to transport their goods and services comfortably as well as un contamined products from PIBID/BIRDIC.
According to the UNRA regional Manager south Eng. Racheal Ngonzebwa, Katarimwa the stretch next KIU will be worked on because it has become a public concern.
Eng. Ngonzebwa added that Ishaka Mbarara road which is full of potholes will soon be worked on because plans are under way already.
Katungu Nyaruzinga road was worked on by Networkworld U LTD owned by at a cost of 7,367,064,773 shillings
