UPDF SEAL OFF KARUTUSI VILLAGE IN KAZO DISTRICT AS ONE OF THEIR OWN TESTS POSITIVE FOR COVID 19

In Kazo—

Uganda People’s Defence Forces (UPDF) and other task force organs on 16^th July 2020 sealed off Karutusi village Mbogo parish Engari sub county Kazo district to prevent the residents from going anywhere in order to stop the possible spread of COVID 19.

This came after col. Kateera James testing positive for COVID 19 few days after returning from Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).

The positive case met his worker at home and they later went to the neighboring shops for a social hour

The Kiruhura District Commissioner (RDC) who also doubles as the chairman district COVID 19 task force, Amina Dabu Muhindo noted that so far no one is allowed to move out of this village until the mandatory 14 days of quarantine are over and if you enter there you face the same.
