VOTING STARTS PEACEFULLY IN BUSHENYI, NRM LIKELY TO LOSE SEATS

LCIII elections are ongoing and voters have rushed to their respective polling stations to choose candidates of their choice.
Steven Karuti of central division Bushenyi Ishaka municipality is tussling it out with Ben Jackson Bitungirwe independent and Milton Mwebembezi of FDC
In Nyakabirizi division the race is between two candidates; Wayita Katwire independent and Biryomumaisho of NRM.
Ishaka division’s Deus Mukyenga is trying to defend his incumbency after losing primaries and is running as independent but sources say he is doing well so far.
Sheik Semugabe is tussling it out with Karoori Rwamuganga for Kizinda Kigoma town council.
Zaverio Mpambiiro is fighting with his arch rival Misindo for Nkanga Sub County.
Deborah is favored to defeat NRM’s Ronah for LCIII councillorship central ward for Bushenyi Ishaka municipality.
