West Ankole diocesan Bishop, Rt. Rev. Johnson Twinomujuni has revealed that the church has provided whatever is necessary for seed school to be constructed at Kabushaho but not Kigurusi as politicians are agitating.
He noted that we are in charge therefore no one can take the school away, we have give away land at kabushaho and its title however politicians have hijacked the project but for us we are prepared and in charge of all the activities at Kabushaho.
He said this late yesterday 30th2018at katungu mothers union while conducting a fellowship and press conference of journalists from greater Bushenyi and greater Mbarara.
Before, there has been a sharp conflict between councilors, political leaders over the location of a 1.6 billion seed school for Bumbaire Sub County in Bushenyi district.
Kabushaho secondary school was closed in 1992 by the then minister of education Col.Amanya Mushega but was fortunately restarted by Michael Mawanda in 2011.
Kabushaho is under West Ankole Diocese so Mawanda and the diocese have heavily funded its existence.
The sub county council passed a resolution in 2011that if government at one time wants to give Bumbaire Sub County a government aided secondary school; it should give it to Kabushaho secondary school.
Jafari Bassajabalaba,Patrick Kizito and some councilors have resolved to take the school to kigurusi land but failed to proiduce a tile for the land they ae interested in.
