The Bushenyi Chief Administrative Officer Malik Mahab has noted that the presidential directive on closure of institutions of learning is not debatable.
He added that as authorities, they are not begging the heads of schools to close but it is a directive they must follow.
Following the public address delivered yesterday 18th March 2020 by president Museveni, institutions of learning were directed to close for 32 days as a preventive measure against Corona Virus.
Mahab noted that the directive applies to both private and government aided institutions thus demanded even the private schools to follow the advice from the president and close until the 32 days mandated are over.
He made these remarks today 19th March 2020 while speaking to www.mknewslink.com reporter at his office in Bushenyi Ishaka Municipality .
The CAO noted that work places that are still working should take up the preventive measures as advised by the President and Ministry of Health such as; washing facilities should be at every unit , hand sanitizer should be procured and availed to the people.
