WE HAVE FDC’S AMURIAT AT MBARARA CPS—-PRO KASASIRA

In Mbarara—

Samson Kasasira the Rwizi region Police spokesperson has confirmed that the presidential candidate Patrick Amuriat Oboi is in their custody at Mbarara central police station.

Kasasira told www.mknewslink.com that Amuriat has been arrested in connection to the knocking down of SP John Rutangira the Mbarara DPC.

SP Rutangira was on Wednesday knocked down by a boda boda cyclist who was carrying Amuriat as police tried to block FDC campaigns in Mbarara.  

He also revealed that they are still in a meeting after which they will release a statement on why they arrested Amuriat today in the morning.

Amuriat has been in running battles with police since he started his campaigns in Ankole region. He has fought with Police in Mbarara, Isingiro, Sheema and Mitooma among others.

 Patrick Amuriat Oboi was today morning arrested from Omunkombe at the border of Rubirizi and Bushenyi district.
