WE SHALL NOT FIRE ANY STAFF IN THE ONGOING RESTRUCTURING—–PRO IG

The Public Relations Officer Inspectorate of Government Ali Munira has revealed that the ongoing restructuring at the anti corruption body will not lead to firing of some staff as it is being alleged.
In a telephone interview with www.mknewslink.com managing editor today 7th June 2020,Ali Munira noted that staff should not get worried about losing jobs but should attend the interviews with cool heart.
On the issue of the Inspector General of Government doing two jobs at once ;one at court of appeal judge and another as IGG, Munira noted that she did an interview at court of appeal and passed while her contract as IGG has not expired though she is waiting for the president to appoint a new IGG then she vacates.
A source from the IGG’s office today morning revealed to www.mknewslink.com that the IG was going to converge 200 staff at Mestil and Golf hotel for restructuring which is against presidential directive on COVID 19 .
Munira noted that the IG is aware of the presidential directive and cannot defraud them thus there is no reason to worry.
On the issue of staff from border districts where some staff will come to Kampala from these district,Munira noted that they will consider whether these staff will do interviews online .
