In Bushenyi—
The residents of Kibingo cell, Buyanja parish Kyeizooba subcounty are in a stiff fight with their fellow resident Rev.Can. Kamwerinde over a ownership of a path /road.
According to the LCII chairman George Barimunsi, he has carried out investigations and found out that Reverend Kamwerinde is the one who is in the wrong and bringing unrest in the village of Kibingo.
Saverino Kyamanywa the LCI chairman who headed the village court noted that the reverend Canon had lost the case and instead of giving them the path,he decided to appeal to a higher village court.
Efforts by www.mknewslink.com to get Reverend Canon Kamwerinde on his air tel number were futile as he never picked after three times of calling.
The 6 year old and the oldest upcountry website did not stop at that but also contacted the Diocesan Secretary Didas Natweta who promised this editor and explain to him about the fracas about him in his village of Kibingo cell Buyanja parish in Bushenyi district.
This is not the first controversy that has been created around Rev. Kamwerinde.
When Rt.Rev. Johnson Twinomujuni took over as Bishop of West Ankole, he demoted Kamwerinde from being an archdeacon of Rwakasinga to a parish priest of Bumbaire parish in Bushenyi district West Ankole diocese.
He was later re promoted to archdeacon and recently he was again re demoted to a parish priest to Katenga Mitooma district.
Kamwerinde has now come to the lime light because he is fighting with the neighbors.
