All eight children led by Edmund Matsiko Rurangaranga through their lawyers of Ms Bagyenda& Co. Advocates have instituted a civil case against Winfred Kambonesa in Mbarara high court accusing her of fraudulently obtaining letters of Administration.
Kambonesa who is the widow to the late Maj.Edward Rurangaranga applied for letters of administration to the estates of her husband which were granted to her on 13th of February 2018 by the Mbarara high court judge Duncan Gaswaga.
However, in March this year the children went to court accusing Kambonesa of stealthily obtaining Rurangaranga’s estates letters of administration. They argue that their step mother is incapable of properly administering their father’s estates.
The case particulars further allege that Kambonesa uttered a medical certificate of cause of death from Kitagata hospital which did not attend to Maj.Rurangaranga’s body.
The children want court to revoke the grant of letters of Administration to Kambonesa and put a permanent injunction her from undertaking any further dealings with the estates of the Late Maj.Edward Rurangaranga.
