WIFE ARRESTED OVER HUSBAND’S MURDER.

A 45 year old woman in Ibanda district has been arrested alongside other four people for allegedly killing her husband in February this year.
According to Rogers Chebene the Ibanda District Police Commander DPC, the woman identified as Dina Ainomugisha , with her colleagues Keresensio Mwesigye, ExperitoKacunguza, Stephen Mukama and Kabasiita Medrine residents of Vatican cell in Mabonwa Parish,Rukiri Sub-County Ibanda district murdered Gordon Ahimbisibwe her husband, dug a grave and buried the body at night in February 2018
He added that Ainomugisha had family wrangles with her husband due to their land and the residential house. He said Mr. Ahimbisibwe was a trader who used to buy matoke and take them in Kampala for sale.
Chebene noted that Kacunguzi Experito, one of the suspects who did not get his money for the job done reported the matter to LC officials in the area who tipped the police about the matter.
Chebene said that when they arrived at the home of late Ahimbisibwe at 3.45 am on Wednesday,they were shocked to find people digging the grave to transfer the body and bury it in a nearby old pit latrine after one of them threatened to disclose the information, saying he was not paid for the work done.
Chebene said further investigations are going on and the exhumed body has been taken to Ruhoko health center IV for postmortem report.
