WOMAN BRUTALLY RAPED, KILLED BY UNKNOWN THUGS IN RUKIGA

Police in Rukiga is investigating circumstances under which a 34 years old woman was allegedly murdered by unknown assailant.

One Ngashakyire Jenina of Rubugo cell Kibanda parish Kamwezi subcounty Rukiga district was discovered dead on 2^nd june2019 at around 10:30am in the farm of late Nyerwanire at Kazaza trading centre by people grazing cattle.

It is said that Jenina was lastly seen at Kazaza trading centre in Gideon’s bar where she moved from Biryomumisho Darius Alias Kyakabare’s bar around 20:30pm.

Police was notified by the area Lc1 chairperson Rubugo cell one Katatire John, visited the scene and discovered that she was first raped and fixed a stick in her private parts before she was murdered.

Postmortem was done and both bars owners were picked for questioning.

The case was registered at Kamwezi SD 07/02/06/2019 refers.
