WORK TOWARDS LEAVING A LEGACY—BISHOP JOHNSON CHALLENGES LATE CAN. RUSHAMBUZA’S MOURNERS

The bishop of west Ankole diocese Rt. Rev. Johnson Twinomujuni has challenged mourners to work towards leaving a legacy when they are no more in this world.
Bishop Johnson said this and many more at the burial of Lay Can. Zabroni Rushambuza at his home in Ntungamo village, Nyakabirizi division Bushenyi Ishaka muninicipality
The Bishop urged to work hard to ensure that they leave behind something to be remembered for after their death.
Bishop Twinomujuni hailed Can. Rushambuza for his fear of God and said that his family is one of the few families which have helped and developed the West Ankole diocese.
Hon. Minister Mary Karooro on behalf of president Museveni expressed that Rushambuza had property and humanity which many people have failed to embrace at once.
The Late Can. Zabron Rushambuza who died at the age of 93 years was born in Nyarweshama Sheema district and had settled in Ntungamo village Nyakabirizi Bushenyi district for 68 years before he died on Sunday 25th October 2020.
Rushambuza commonly referred to as Ishenkuru Abagoma, was prominent because of word “AI MUKAMA” written his house.
Most people mistook Mzee Rushambuza’s openness and jokes for arrogance.
Rushambuza and his family built Nyakabirizi Church of Uganda which he started in 1953, and supported many other different churches.
Rushambuza has survived by three sons and one daughter with more than fifty grandchildren.
