YOU WENT AGAINST THE CONSTITUTION TO FIRE WAKISO HEALTH WORKERS–KAMPALA LORD MAYOR TELLS PRESIDENT MUSEVENI

Kampala capital city lord mayor has criticized president Museveni for firing the entire staff of a health centre in Wakiso district yesterday.
According to a statement released by Lukwago on social media this afternoon, he noted that the president acted against the constitution of Uganda which gives powers to the accused to be heard first before they are dismissed.
During president Museveni’s visit to Wakiso yesterday, he received complaints from the public that health workers were not working hence decided to fire all of them.
However Lukwago notes that the public service act provides that before civil servant is dismissed, be first warned, disciplined, interdicted then dismissed but president Museveni skipped all these procedures and went to the last one which is dismissal
