YOUR PARENTS SLEEP HUNGRY BECAUSE OF YOUR EDUCATION—MP KABURA TELLS ZION INSTITUTE GRADUANDS

The Member of Parliament for Bushenyi Ishaka municipality Derrick Kabuura has revealed that some parents in Uganda sacrifice a lot for their children to get education.

Kabuura said this yesterday during a 6^th graduation for Zion Institute for Tertiary Studies.

Kabuura noted that Ugandan education is very expensive but because of the parents’ zeal, they sacrifice a lot of things they should be enjoying in order for their children to attain education.

He therefore called upon graduands of Zion Institute of Tertiary Studies to respect their parents’ efforts and once they get jobs, they respect their superiors for the success of their lives.

He warned the youths against get rich quickly schemes which may lead them to stealing, gambling and other vices.

He advised them to stop spending on luxuries such as cars, clothes but instead save their money for the future.

Derrick Kabura is serving his first term after defeating the late Gordon Arinda Cowboy in NRM primaries and five others in the January 2021 general elections.
