YOUTHFUL FALLEN CAPTAIN FINALLY LAID TO REST AT HER ANCESTRAL HOME IN RUKUNGIRI

The body of late Capt. Caroline Busingye was yesterday February 15th 2021, laid to rest at her ancestral home in Rwenkuraijo, Buyanja Sub County in Rukungiri District.
Capt. Busingye died on Thursday last week after the plane she was flying came down and sustained injuries together with her co- pilot, Abudallar Weka who is still admitted in the hospital.
The funeral service was led by Rev. Fr. Elias Kasigaire the Parish Priest of Nyakibale while the UPDF was represented by Maj. Gen. Geoffrey Tumusiime Kasigazi the Deputy Commander of Airforce.
Major General Tumusiime said Rukungiri and Uganda at large had lost a committed and hard working girl who cannot be easily replaced.
He said in few years Caroline Busingye had done a lot for this country unlike some people who live for hundred years without making any impact on this planet.
Col. Frederick Kihingi commander Entebbe Air force said Capt. Caroline Busingye was among those who liked learning all the time and was mastering on flying jet ranger.
The family legal officer Maj. Pollar Awith said, Capt. Busingye was coming the first family of late Polycarp Nyamuchonco who led this country for about six months.
the grandfather to the deceased was jointly sworn in to led this country together with Saulo Musoke and Wacha Olwol on 22nd May 1980 until 15th December 1980 when they handed over to Milton Obote II
