YOUTHS WARNED AGAINST DRUG ABUSE AS THEY TRAVEL TO ASIAN COUNTRIES FOR WORK

Rubirizi district NRM chairman Said Kanyankole has warned youths against wasting most of their time in drug abuse instead of working hard for a better tomorrow.
Kanyankole was today speaking to youths who had gathered at Adit Mall in Mbarara city for registration as they prepare to travel for work in the countries of Saudi Arabia, Qatar, United Arab Emirates, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Turkey.
The registration was conducted by Intercontinental Opportunities Company limited, a recruitment company that seeks jobs for Ugandans in Asian countries.
Kanyankole advised the registered youths to focus on investing into business the money they will make from Asian countries, to yield profits so that by the time they come from abroad they have where to start from.
Richard Banjo the Operation Wealth Creation chairperson for Ibanda district urged the youths to jump unto this chance brought by Intercontinental Opportunities limited so that they escape from the high rate of Unemployment faced by this country.
The Marketing officer for Intercontinental opportunities limited Wlberforce Saverio Twinomukama cautioned all the registered youths to behave to the required standard when they reach their places of work. .
Wilberforce noted that new entrants are charged 165000 ug shs for registration ,photos, and pre-medical tests.
He further noted the entrants who are employed as chefs, factory workers, casual laborers, Housemaids, Security guards earn between 900,000 to 3.5 million ugs and the only requirement is ability to speak English.
