Fire Base crew vice president Nubian Li is currently in studio recording his brand new song titled ‘Kilimanyi’, a song that preaches against the use of excessive power, dictatorship and violation of human rights.
Everyone uses their talent differently in different situations. Nubian Li has resorted to using his music to express his dissatisfaction with the way his longtime comrade Bobi Wine was tortured and imprisoned.

Nubian Li has been Bobi Wine’s right hand man for many years as they both hustled through the journey of life in the ghetto to the parliament. He has always been seen around Bobi who also acknowledges his loyalty towards him.
Despite various attempts by security forces to prevent Bobi Wine’s close associates and friends from accessing him, the lot has done so much to ensure that they make their voices heard in the fight to have their mentor released.
Nubian Li is now taking a higher notch by recording a new song titled ‘Kilimanyi’. The lyrics to the song are very strong and in protest of the excessive force used by security forces while making arrests.
It should be noted that Bobi Wine is currently very ill and his family reported that he will need a kidney transplant after one of his kidneys was damaged due to the torture he was subjected to during his arrest.

‘kilimanyi’ is a project that will drop very soon and with the wave of solidarity that has engulfed the public in the effort to have the Kyadondo East MP freed, we anticipate the song will receive the deserved credit once it is finally released.
Nubian Li sampled part of the song while still in studio and posted some of its visuals on Instagram.

In Mityana—
Fresh riots have erupted in Mityana Municipality this morning following reports that the health condition of their area MP Francis Zaake is deteriorating.
Currently, anti-riot police is engaging in running battles with angry protesters mainly youth who have since blocked roads and paralyzed traffic in the town and along the Kampala-Mityana-Mubende highway.
Motorists from Kampala are branching off from Wabigalo, utilising village routes to connect to Mubende.
Meanwhile, a photo posted by Muhammad Nsereko shows Zaake in Lubaga hospital and from the photo, he appears to have been taken off life support machines as earlier reported.

Zaake is among the people including Kyadondo East MP Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine who were brutally arrested, tortured and detained last Monday by security agents in Arua.

In Ibanda–
Fire that broke out a long Mpiira street in Ibanda municipality on Saturday morning destroyed property worth millions of shillings in a motor garage. The garage is known as Alex Motor Services Company limited situated along Mpiira Street.
The garage Director Alex Tibandeeba noted that the fire is suspected to have started from a heap of dried gabage near his garage. He said the fire broke out at 4.00 am and the security guard called Moses Lukwago raised an alarm that attracted the neigbours who tried to put it off but all in vain.
Police was then called for help and the fire department arrived at scene when several properties had burnt into ashes.
Tibandeeba said that property which included spare parts, spanners, and welding machines worth shs. 103.36 million were all destroyed.
He added that twenty chicken and two puppies also perished in the fire.
JB Mugimba the laison officer told the press that after the police received the news it rushed to the scene to put off the fire, but most of items were burnt to ashes. He said the police are investigating the cause of the fire.
