SHOCK IN BUSHENYI AS DRIVER KNOCKS DOWN FOUR VEHICLES, KILLING CYCLIST

Residents of Bushenyi are still in shock following an accident in which a drunkard rammed into four vehicles and one boda boda killing one person.
This accident happened in Ishaka town at Gaze petrol station on Mbarara stage today morning at around 7:00am.
According to SP Martial Tumusiime the greater Bushenyi Police Public Relations Officer, the driver of Premier reg.no UAV846P identified as Alex Ntambala aged 42 years rammed into four other vehicles which were parked at Gaze Petrol station before knocking down one boda boda rider who sustained serious injuries.
Martial added that the boda boda rider of motorcycle UES496 E who was identified as Abiaz Natukwasa aged 42 years a resident of Rushoraza in Kizinda town council died at KIU hospital few minutes after his arrival.
Martial told www.mknewslink.com that the driver was arrested, tested for alcohol and results confirmed that he was too drunk.
He added that police are working on his file so that he can appear before court to face the wrath of the law.
