50 YEAR OLD STABBED TO DEATH IN KAKUMIRO

A50 year old man has been stabbed to death in Lwamata A lc1, Lwamata parish in Mpasaana Sub County Kakumiro district.

The deceased has been identified as Didas Tumwebaze a resident of Buterere in Lwamata lc1 Mpasaana Sub County.

John Tumwesigye an eye witness told our reporter in an interview Monday afternoon that he received a call at around 8pm last evening from Nicholas a son to the deceased informing him that his father had been stabbed by unknown robbery.

Meanwhile Federesi Kyohirwe the wife of the deceased narrated that they were from having supper when the husband moved out to give food to his dogs. However few minutes she heard him making an alarm and on reaching outside his arm was already chopped off.

He died on the way as they were rushing him to the hospital for medication.

Emmanuel Muhumuza the lc3 chairperson Mpasaana sub county has asked the residents to be calm and not take laws in their arms.

Emmanuel also asked whoever might be having a clue that can lead to the arrest of the culprits to deliver it to the authorities.

By press time, police was yet to reach at the scene of crime.
